I underwent FFS with Dr. Douglas Ousterhout in May 2023. Dr. Ousterhout is a world-renowned FFS surgeon who has helped thousands of transgender women achieve their desired results.

Consultation

My consultation with Dr. Ousterhout was very informative and helpful. He took the time to listen to my goals for surgery and to explain the different procedures that could help me achieve them. He also answered all of my questions thoroughly and patiently.

After my consultation, I was confident that Dr. Ousterhout was the right surgeon for me. He is highly skilled and experienced, and he has a deep understanding of the needs of transgender women.

Surgery

My surgery was performed at Dr. Ousterhout's surgery center in Beverly Hills, California. The surgery lasted for about 6 hours.

During the surgery, Dr. Ousterhout performed the following procedures:

I am very happy with the results of my surgery. My face is now more feminine and harmonious. I feel more confident and beautiful than I ever have before.

Recovery

The recovery process from FFS is typically 2-3 weeks. During this time, you will need to take it easy and avoid strenuous activity. You will also need to wear a compression garment on your face to help reduce swelling.

I experienced some swelling and bruising after my surgery, but it was not too painful. I was able to take pain medication to help manage the discomfort.

I am now 6 weeks post-op and I am still recovering. The swelling has subsided significantly and my scars are healing well. I am very happy with the progress I am making.
